Victoria to host rock bands last show

A venue near Moorabbin will see the last performance ever of a popular Australian rock band.

In a tribute to the music scene in Melbourne that fostered its beginning, rock band The Cat Empire will play two consecutive nights in the city. Music fans from Moorabbin and other areas in Victoria will not want to miss this final show featuring the band’s original line-up.

The shows will also feature Melbourne band JAZZPARTY in support, and multiple guest appearances from other artists the group has worked with over the years.

Those attending the upcoming concerts will get a chance to hear a wide range of The Cat Empire classics such as “Brighter Than Gold”, “How to Explain”, “Days Like These”, “Hello” and “The Wine Song”.

From arenas to stadiums, venues hosting major music events can sometimes use professional banner printing to create large signage to promote performances.

The Sidney Myer Music Bowl has been chosen as a venue as it has been a long-time favourite of the group. Single tickets for the events are available priced at $130.80 per head, and group admissions for $492.60.

The Cat Empire will play at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl at Kings Domain Gardens on Linlithgow Avenue in Melbourne on Wednesday, December 15, and Thursday, December 16 from 6 pm until 10.30 pm.
