A large cultural venue in Moorabbin is to welcome an acclaimed Australian recording artist for a single night show this winter.

Residents can enjoy an evening performance from Christine Anu this year. The extremely popular Australian vocalist is renowned for spreading messages of hope and unity and will play a two-hour set for her audience.

City arts hubs hosting shows sometimes look to poster printing services for colourful adverts that attract public notice and encourage ticket sales.

Anu holds a total of 17 Australian Recording Industry Awards (ARIA) nominations, and her applauded releases include the award-winning song My Island Home and the platinum LP Stylin' Up. With one of Australia’s most recognised voices, she is proud of her heritage as a Torres Strait Islander and employs her status as a singer to advocate for First People as well as those from marginalised backgrounds.

In 2016, Anu became host for the ABC radio programme Evenings and now presents a national radio show each Friday and Saturday on the same station.

Christine Anu will now perform live on stage at Kingston City Hall on Saturday, August 15. The concert will commence at 7.30 pm and finishes at 9.30 pm. The arts venue is located at 985 Nepean Highway in Moorabbin.

Full price admission for the show is $55 per person, but discounted tickets are available for concessions and groups of four or more people.
