An event that features live musicians performing songs sourced from the soundtrack of a famous first-person shooter is running at a popular sports bar in Moorabbin.
Fans of console games and music in the area can attend this event in spring. A musical duo called Mustang & Sally will present a special celebration dedicated to the golden era of the game Call of Duty Zombies. The hour-long set will feature classic pieces of music composed by senior sound designer for Treyarch, Kevin Sherwood.
Bars and clubs hosting live music acts often advertise with the help from specialist flyer printing services that can create eye-catching and inexpensive materials that get the word out to members of the community.
Taking their name from the signature pistols of game character "Tank" Dempsey, Mustang & Sally will perform atmospheric tracks by Sherwood like “Beauty of Annihilation and 115, alongside metal favourites such as Avenge Sevenfold’s Shepherd of Fire. On the night, Naarm-based indie pop rockers Gesùnolike will warm up the crowd before the duo perform.
Mustang & Sally and Gesùnolike will now play live at Pockets on Friday, November 6. The show will kick off at 8 pm and end at 11 pm, with the sports bar based at 168 Chesterville Road in Moorabbin. Admission to the event is $10 per person.
