US indie band scheduled for Moorabbin area

An esteemed venue based in Melbourne will soon welcome an indie pop band from America for a winter show.

All the way from San Diego in California, US indie-pop sensation TV Girl will be arriving in West Melbourne this July to play the Festival Hall.
The upcoming gig will allow fans of the group from Moorabbin and other nearby suburbs to hear fresh material and classic tracks sourced from their extensive songbook.

Respected venues in big cities like the coastal capital of Victoria often count on poster printing services to design and produce enticing adverts for the live acts they show on stage.

TV Girl is made up of Jason Wyman, Brad Petering and Wyatt Harmon. The band was originally founded for fun and experimentation by Petering and a friend, Trung Ngo. They recorded a self-titled EP but sampled a 1973 Todd Rundgren track "Hello It's Me" on one of their own songs "If You Want It", but it resulted in a retraction request from Rhino Entertainment, who owned the original.

Since then, they have released multiple studio albums including “French Exit”, “Death of a Party Girl” and, most recently, last year’s “Grapes Upon the Vine”.

TV Girl will now be live at the Festival Hall Melbourne on Tuesday, July 16. The hall is sited at 300 Dudley Street in West Melbourne and the concert will kick off at 7 pm. Tickets are available at $79.90.
