Locals in Moorabbin are invited to attend a screen printing workshop, which is scheduled to take place in July.
Offered by Laneway Learning, the introductory, interactive workshop will encourage attendees’ creativity as they learn about what’s involved in screen printing and design and craft unique, personalised tote Bags.
Those attending will learn the necessary techniques to start screen printing, will explore the everyday materials used, and will discover easy tips and tricks to help them Print their own designs on bags, T-Shirts and more.
Participants are encouraged to bring along their own ideas and designs for their bag, or some inspiration pictures they can use for reference during the workshop.
At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will take away their own designed and printed tote bag to keep.
Organisers of creative workshops can utilise printing services to create attractive advertising that makes an impact and draws interest and attendance from the local community.
The DIY Screen Printing workshop will be held on Monday, 7 July at the Kingston Arts Centre, which can be found at 979-985 Nepean Highway in Moorabbin. The workshop will begin at 6:30 PM and concludes at 8:00 PM. Attendance is $20 and covers the cost of materials, and the workshop is designed for participants aged 16 years and over.
