An R&B singer-songwriter from the US is set to make a welcome return to Melbourne next year.
Moorabbin music fans will soon be able to see Maryland’s Brent Faiyaz live on stage in the coastal capital. January will see the artist play a headline show at the Sideny Myer Music Bowl, unleashing his latest material on a Melbourne audience. The concert is part of Faiyaz’s epic tour of New Zealand and Australia, which will also see him play at the Aware Super Theatre in Sydney.

At twenty-seven years of age, Faiyaz is known for his relatable yet introspective lyrics. Exploring the dark and light sides of his personality in his work, he has also earned kudos for his collaborations. In 2022, he released the studio album “Wasteland” to critical acclaim, breaking records. An RIAA Gold album, “Wasteland” debuted at number two in the charts, the highest position every reached by an independent R&B musician.
Brent Faiyaz will be at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Tuesday, January 9. The venue is located at Kings Domain Gardens on Linlithgow Avenue in Melbourne, and the show will start at 7pm.
