At a recent results briefing, the company announced a forecasted 6% growth in profits for the coming financial year, which is off the back of a 9% growth last financial year that saw it make an operating profit of $715m.
The organisation has been successful with projects in 14 countries worldwide, but here in Australia it has been boosted in particular by the increased demand for retail outlet and industrial out of town developments. The Moorabbin Airport retail and industrial precinct has proved to be especially fruitful, having recently seen the additions of an over 30,000 square feet complex for Spectrum Brands and the opening of a new Costco retail store, which was heavily marketed in the local area with Signs, Posters and Flyers.
The company’s Chief Executive Greg Goodman explained that with over 75 projects underway across its 14 countries of operation, this has ensured the group could still move forward despite the shock of the Brexit vote. He stated that:
“Pre-Brexit, we thought real estate was pretty overpriced in the UK, post-Brexit we think it brings it more in line with what we are seeing in other parts of the world. I think that you will find long-term income assets in the UK will trade pretty well, and are trading pretty well.”
Locally, Goodman is expected to be involved in a major urban renewal project in Australia with over 30,000 apartments lined up for development or redevelopment.Get a Free Quote for Signs Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters
