Moorabbin to welcome acclaimed Australian artist

A renowned Australian singer-songwriter is set to play a single-night show in Moorabbin.

Known for his break-out groups like Mondo Rock and Daddy Cool, Australia’s legendary Ross Wilson will be playing a gig in Moorabbin’s Lucky 13 Garage, backed by his band, the Peaceniks. With 26 hits in the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) top 40 to his credit, Wilson is among the nation’s most renowned and respected artists. In 1989, he was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame as a solo performer, and again in 2006 playing with Daddy Cool.

An acclaimed singer-songwriter, Ross is also famed for his guitar and harmonica playing skills. Those attending the upcoming show in Moorabbin will get the opportunity to hear some of his tracks, which may include Daddy Cool classics like ‘Eagle Rock’, ‘At the Rockhouse’ and ‘Come Back Again’, and Mondo Rock hits from the 80s like ‘Come Said the Boy’, ‘Chemistry’, ‘Cool World’, ‘No Time’ and ‘State of The Heart’.

Ross Wilson and the Peaceniks will now be on stage at the Lucky 13 Garage located at 8 Cochranes Road, Moorabbin on Saturday, May 7 between 7.30 pm and 11 pm.
