Andrew Fuller, a well-known clinical psychologist and Ambassador for Lion’s Drug Awareness Foundation and Mind Matters, will speak at St Catherine’s Primary School in Moorabbin on Guerrilla Tactics for Parents.
Fuller is a consultant on education and parenting issues and has worked with more than half a million students in schools across the nation. He has conducted many research projects to find ways to improve outcomes for children. His face is familiar to ABC viewers as he makes many media appearances.
He will speak about a range of topics including what are the three main ingredients of resilience and how to develop these in children, relationship and friendship skills, parenting tricky children, how to create happy children and how neurochemistry affects parenting. He will also discuss how to build a child’s self-esteem and help them to deal with setbacks.
The ultimate aim of all Fuller’s work is for people to shape their futures into something they will excel and be happy in. Attendees can look forward to an enjoyable night where they will gain useful insights.
