Rock tribute band, Scarecrow, will be starting this year’s ‘Ultimate American Rock Show’ tour at venues on the Mornington Peninsula in March.
Scarecrow frontman, singer and guitarist Gary Young, has been leading the band since the late 1980s and backing vocalist and percussionist, Anny Remsnik has been part of the group since it was formed. The band also includes top class local musicians who combine to craft a sound that recreates many classic rock tracks. The band previously toured The Mellencamp show to great reviews, even winning the approval and praise of John Mellencamp himself.
The Ultimate American Rock Show will include a wide variety of songs from many iconic American bands and performers including Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, The Doobie Brothers, Bruce Springsteen, Janis Joplin, Bob Dylan, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Mamas and Papas, The Eagles and many more.
The audience will be able to relive concert experiences of their younger days as they rock along to classic tracks that were the anthems of their generation.

The band will perform at the Sandbelt Club Hotel, Moorabbin on Saturday 23rd March and Rosebud RSL on Thursday 28th March. Both venues offer the chance to enjoy a meal before audience members gear up for the evening’s entertainment.
