Moorabbin music fans to hear English Indie

A beloved indie-rock band from England are soon set to take centre stage in Melbourne playing two epic shows.

Music lovers from Moorabbin will get their chance to see English indie all-stars Florence and the Machine this March when they play Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena. The shows will be part of a massive tour for the band in honour of their most recent studio album.

Entitled “Dance Fever” the record was released through Polydor in May last year and the gigs will allow the band to introduce live renditions of the material to Antipodean audiences. Music artists and their record label often enlist the aid of graphic design specialists to help them set Print-ready artwork and typography for their album covers.

Along with their new tracks like “My Love”, fans of the British band will likely also hear a selection of Florence’s greatest hits like “Shake It Out”, “Dog Days Are Over” and “You’ve Got The Love”.

As well as Melbourne, the tour will also take the group to Brisbane and Sydney in Australia, as well as Auckland in New Zealand.

Florence and the Machine will now perform their Melbourne live shows at the Rod Laver Arena on Olympic Boulevard on Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9. Supporting the group on the Australian leg of its tour will be the US multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter King Princess.
