The e-Library offers readers of all ages many options, making it suitable for the entire family to use. Borrow Box is a platform that allows readers to select e-Books and e-audiobooks which can easily be downloaded to their computers or mobile devices.
TumbleBooks is a fun, educational e-book resource designed specifically for kids. Children can watch and listen to animated stories and those learning to read are able to practice their reading skills by reading along with chapter Books. TumbleBooks includes non-fiction Books, educational videos, puzzles, games and Books written in other languages.
Story Box Library is a video collection of stories by Australian illustrators and authors. This resource is suitable for children between the ages of two and eight years old and is sure to ignite their imaginations. Project Gutenberg is a public domain e-book library with over 2,500 titles and the Open Library focuses on the world’s classic literature with over one million free titles to choose from.
The e-Library also enables readers to access digital Copies of The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age and The Australian Financial Review as well as the local Leader newspapers.
Other materials that are available include digital magazines and movie streaming through Kanopy. Libraries are utilising graphic design to link their members to various digital resources.
