Callum Nugent has been accepted at ‘Arzaks’ restaurant in Spain and has now been working there for a number of weeks. ‘Arzaks’ is a restaurant owned by Juan Mari Arzak, who currently holds three Michelin stars and it generally takes from six to twelve months just to book a table at this outstanding establishment. Callum is learning all about Basque cooking in in the raw during his fourteen month stay overseas and Holmesglen couldn’t be prouder. He was described by Holmesglen Senior Educator David Hayes as the “perfect candidate” to represent the college overseas and Callum couldn’t be happier or more excited to take on the role.
Callum describes himself as:
“Enthusiastic, always willing to learn and take on feedback.”
He is sure to excel during the time he is away and in the future too.
Holmesglen runs cookery apprenticeships programs at its Moorabbin and Waverley campuses and provides top quality equipment, highly trained staff and impressive local training restaurants too.
If you are interested in a cookery apprenticeship or any of the other courses run at Moorabbin or other Holmesglen campuses, Holmesglen uses top quality brochure printers in the area so it can give potential students all the information they require in an informative brochure. It is also possible to find out more information about the different campuses and the courses available at www.holmesglen.edu.au
