Here comes the bridal exhibition

A bridal-themed charity fundraiser featuring a major exhibition of goods and services for a couple's big day will soon be held in Moorabbin, Victoria.

The event, organised by Reveur Weddings and Events, is being held to raise awareness and funds to aid Cancer Council Victoria. Organisers are hoping to raise more than $5,000 from the Bridal Exhibition Fundraiser in an effort to establish the Malcolm Jane Multiple Myeloma Research grant.

According to a spokesperson for the wedding company, the money raised would provide Cancer Council Victoria with much needed funds for lifesaving research, support services and cancer prevention programmes. She also said that friends, family and brides-to-be were invited to take part in the event's activities, which would include a fashion show, door prizes, auction, raffles and bridal goodie Bags.

Cancer Council Victoria Fundraising and Communication chief Andrew Buchanan commented that the staging of events such as this was really appreciated by the organisation. He added that passionate fundraisers like Reveur Weddings and Events were vital to the body's work, while providing over 50% of the organisation's funding.

Mr Buchanan called on the local business community for further support. As such, flyer printing across the state to aid fundraising activities could be a possible way it can do this.

The Bridal Exhibition Fundraiser will be held at Moorabbin's Kingston Arts Centre on July 12th. Entry is by gold coin donation.
