Face Fashion will be presenting a fashion runway show in Moorabbin to showcase the work of new and emerging Australian designers.
Face Fashion was founded by Marvin Osifo in 2006. An immigrant from West Africa, Osifo’s passion for fashion was shaped by his family’s love of bright colours and dressing up for special occasions. He worked in fashion retail for several big brands and studied business and event management and marketing.
Through Face Fashion, he aims to create opportunities for young designers to connect with buyers and consumers. Fashion is a difficult industry to get established in, and Osifo takes great satisfaction in seeing young designers gain a foothold in the industry and progress through the career they had always dreamed of.
The event also gives other fashion industry professionals, such as models and make-up artists, who are starting out on their careers the chance to gain experience of a runway show. Many young designers use their graphic design skills to create eye-catching designs with fabrics and memorable clothes.
Fast Fashion’s Melbourne runway will give local fashionistas the chance to see innovative styles from up and coming Australian designers
The event will be held on Wednesday and Thursday 26th and 27th June from 7:30pm at Warehouse 35, Ebden Street, Moorabbin. Tickets can be purchased online and ticket prices start at $47.99.
