70s sounds coming to Moorabbin area

A renowned musical act from the 1970s is set to play Victoria later this year.

Disco sensation BONEY M, along with original band member Maizie Williams, are coming to perform live in St Kilda allowing music lovers from Moorabbin and other parts of Victoria to enjoy some 70s sound.

An iconic European disco group, BONEY M has now sold more than 100 million albums across the globe. The brainchild of German singer-songwriter and recording maestro Fran Farian, the Euro-Caribbean singing group formed in 1976 and achieved popular success with the trending disco scene.

Fans of the band attending the upcoming performance will be able to hear a setlist packed with Classic BONEY M tracks that might include "Ma Baker", "Daddy Cool", "Rasputin", "Belfast", "Sunny", "Rivers of Babylon" and "Mary's Boy Child – Oh My Lord".

Originally planned to take place in September last year, due to coronavirus restrictions it was necessary to reschedule the show. All tickets for the previous date are valid for the new concert. Venues often use poster printing services to inform ticket buyers of any changes to tour dates and show cancellations.

BONEY M featuring Maizie Williams will now perform live on stage at the Palais Theatre, on Lower Esplanade in St Kilda on Friday, April 8. The show will start at 8 pm.
