Richlands locals will celebrate the Vietnamese New Year with a festival coming to the suburb in February.
Organised by the Queensland Chapter of the Vietnamese Community in Australia, the festival is part of the BrisAsia Festival, an annual celebration of the Lunar New Year.
The two-day festival will include a great range of family-friendly activities.
There will be food stalls serving up traditional Vietnamese cuisine, and local artists and musicians will treat attendees to a showcase of cultural performances.
Among the highlights of the festival will be a traditional costume show, calligraphy displays, martial arts demonstrations, and folk games.
For kids, there will be rides and amusements, and attendees will also enjoy fireworks, firecrackers, and lion dances.
Community event organisers can use Corporate Gifts to thank presenters and contributors. A personalised gift is a great way to make the recipient feel valued and to encourage a positive association with a brand, even after an event has concluded.
The Vietnamese New Year Festival will be held on Friday, 13 February and Saturday, 14 February 2026. The event will be held at C. J. Greenfield Complex Park, 149 Kimberley Street, Richlands, QLD 4077. The festival begins at 5:30 p.m. and concludes at 9:30 p.m. on both days. Attendance is free.
