An event designed to let participants relax and rejuvenate is taking place within easy reach of Richlands this year.
Residents looking to reclaim their peace with group meditation can join a half-day event called the Reconnected Hearts Healing Retreat. Running in nearby Forest Lake, the session lets participants experience reiki healing, sound healing, meditation and Ho'oponopono, the ancient Hawaiian practice that focuses on forgiveness and reconciliation.
Organisations and institutions hosting health and wellbeing experiences like retreats sometimes use professional Letterheads to update attendees with useful information by post.
No prior knowledge of meditation and reiki is necessary to participate in the retreat, which is led by master healer Ruchita. Providing a safe space for attendees to try to release emotional heaviness and calm their minds, the session seeks to help people reconnect with themselves.
After the exercises, all taking part will be treated to a hot cup of tea or coffee and a choice of savoury or sweet snacks.
The Reconnected Hearts Healing Retreat will now be held at Forest Lake Community Hall on Saturday, August 1. The event begins at 9 am and runs until 1 pm and the civic centre is situated around two miles from Richlands at 60 College Avenue in Forest Lake. Admission is charged at $30 per person.
The retreat is suitable for those aged 16 and over.Get a Free Quote for Letterheads
