An event dedicated to drinking beer is making a comeback in Queensland for October this year.
Beer enthusiasts from all over the suburb can rejoice this spring. An event called Oktoberfest in the Gardens is returning to a venue located close by in Bowen Hills. While Oktoberfest traditionally starts in mid-September and runs for over two weeks, the upcoming occasion is a single-day celebration on the second Saturday in October.
The forthcoming festival promises an authentic experience with German beers, cider, wine and food like bratwurst, sauerkraut and pretzels on sale at stalls alongside local ales and cuisine. Breweries attending or sponsoring beer festivals sometimes order a supply of low-cost Promotional Products like drink mats and holders featuring their brand name and Logo Design to market.
The event will offer far more than food and drink, however. Revellers can expect a carnival-style atmosphere, with several stages featuring DJs and live performers - including a classic Bavarian Oompah band. There will also be a sideshow alley, roving street entertainers, dancers, demos, rides, a “Rave Cave” and a silent disco.
Oktoberfest in the Gardens will now be at Brisbane Showgrounds on Saturday, October 11. The festival will get started at 1 pm and ends at 9 pm, and the venue is based at 600 Gregory Terrace in Bowen Hills. Dressing up in Bavarian costume for the event is encouraged.Get a Free Quote for Logo Design Get a Free Quote for Promotional Products
