Those residents in and around Richlands who are looking for a local celebration for New Years Eve might be keen to learn that such an event is being hosted at a nearby venue.
The event kicks off early in the Lounge of The Lion, when soloist and one-time contestant of The Voice Australia, Andrew Taylor, will be delighting the crowd with his accomplished singing.
After Taylor’s performance, the Dueling Pianos band will be getting lively from 8.30pm until late, encouraging the crowd to participate by singing, clapping and dancing along.
In the Sports Bar, Simon Cobolt will be providing soulful melodies from 4pm until 8pm. After this, Brent Hutchinson will be enthusing the audience with a blend of party classics and contemporary music until the small hours.
The café will be open for hot drinks and snacks until midnight, and there will be cash prizes throughout the evening, with one lucky person in the running to win $2025 after midnight.
New Years Eve extravaganzas are often advertised within the local community by means of poster printing in the weeks leading up to the event, as people seek to firm up their end of year celebratory plans.
