Locals in Richlands are invited to gather for a meditation workshop coming to the area in January.
The workshop is organised by Kadampa Meditation Centre Brisbane and Forms part of a series “How to be at peace”.
The series guides attendees to discover happiness and peace, to calm their minds, and to recognise and develop positive states of mind that encourage this peace and happiness to flow.
The workshop will contain guided meditations and a teaching that draws on Buddhist wisdom regarding inner peace and cultivating happiness.
Attendees will be led through the session by Gen Kelsang Ani, who has studied Modern Kadampa Buddhism for over twenty years and who strives to make modern Buddhist practices applicable and accessible to all people.
Organisers of community events can use poster printing to help their offerings stand out in the local community. A well-designed, informative and attractive poster is a great way to capture attention and generate interest from a broader audience.
Meditate in Forest Lake will be held on Tuesday, 13 January 2026. The session starts at 7:15 PM and concludes at 8:00 PM. The workshop will take place at Forest Lake Community Hall, 60 College Ave, Forest Lake QLD 4078. Attendance at the meditation session is $15. Bookings are not required. More information is available on the Kadampa Meditation Centre’s website.
