Capalaba to host eco market

An upcoming event in Capalaba will celebrate environmentally and family friendly activities and offer visitors a chance to purchase products.

People pursuing a greener lifestyle in Capalaba can join an event offering free admission this spring. Called the “IndigiScapes Markets”, the open-air occasion will feature native plants, gifts to buy, entertainment, food and beverages and much more.

The event will be attended by officers from the council and members of local organisations making a difference in Capalaba providing residents with more information about the natural world they live in. Eco-friendly groups and councils often employ brochure printing services to create clear-to-read printed literature for communities featuring actionable advice regarding the environment.

Set amongst native botanic gardens, the event offers a tranquil atmosphere for guests who can explore its gift shop and plant nursery. On botanic garden market lane, eco-conscious products will be on sale from creatives alongside a wide range of local artisan produce. Coffee trucks and food vans will also be present.

Covering family-friendly entertainment, Ranger Stacey will be on the outdoor stage and a live radio broadcast from Bay FM will feature DJ Tony Tranter and his “G'day it's Saturday” crew.

The IndigiScapes Markets event will now run at the IndigiScapes Centre on Saturday, September 5. The event opens at 8 am and closes at 12 pm and the centre is sited at 17 Runnymede Road in Capalaba.
