Medieval celebration returns to Caboolture

A museum in Caboolture is holding an annual event dedicated to medieval times, which includes three days packed with entertainment and activities.

Caboolture residents with a thirst for the past can visit the Abbey Medieval Festival. Now in its 35th year, the event aims to celebrate heritage, history and community spirit. Divided into two parts, it begins with a “Family Fun Day” followed by the “Tournament Weekend”.

Those coming down to the festivities can expect medieval magic and pageantry while exploring life during the Middle Ages in the Middle East and Europe. The Abbey Medieval Festival will now run at the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology from Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12. The museum is easy to find at 1-63 The Abbey Place in Caboolture.
