A festival focused on gems and minerals is coming back to a prominent events space in Caboolture this year.
Gemstone enthusiasts in the area can attend this event, which is called Gemfest 2026. Returning to the suburb in winter, the single-day festival is an annual favourite for hobbyists, collectors and families looking for fun in the area.
Vendors selling niche goods like gems and minerals at fairs and festivals often bring branded Business Cards displaying their contact information to include with customer purchases, encouraging further trade.
Those coming to Gemfest will find a wide selection of gemstones, minerals and fluorescents on display and available to buy. There will also be gems pre-set in jewellery on sale and tools for makers to fashion their own items.
Family-friendly activities are planned for the day like a treasure hunt and gem-sieving sessions for children. An array of food and drink will be available at the festival including coffee, fresh sandwiches, barbequed snacks and sweet treats like ice cream and donuts.
Gemfest 2026 will now run at Caboolture Showgrounds on Saturday, August 1. The event gets underway at 9 am and closes at 3 pm. The showgrounds are simple to find at 140 Beerburrum Road in Caboolture.
The cost of entry is $5 for adults, $2 for concessions and children who are under 14 have free admission. Parking is available with a gold coin donation.Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
