Gemstone event to head for Caboolture
A renowned venue based in Caboolture is set to host a returning festival for fans of gemstones and jewellery later this year.
Citizens of Caboolture with a love of lapidary wonders will not want to miss this event. Entitled GemFest, the single day occasion will take place at a popular local venue and is designed for gemstone collectors and enthusiasts, but also for local families seeking a fun day out.
Those joining the festivities will discover a wide range of gemstones, fossils, shaped stones and handmade jewellery on display ready to peruse and purchase. The event will host a wealth of specialist traders at stalls and stands indoors and outside.
Sellers attending events like fairs and festivals often carry company business cards boasting their logo and contact information to grow their customer base.
Occurring in August, the event is the sophomore edition of the festival after it launched in 2024. Caboolture families attending can participate in many activities that include the popular “sieve-a-gem experience” aimed at children.
GemFest will be at Caboolture Showgrounds on Saturday, August 2. The event begins at 8 am and ends at 3 pm, and the venue is located at 140 Beerburrum Road in Caboolture.
Adult entry is just $5 and children under 12 enjoy free admission. Proceeds from the event will support a non-profit organisation in the area.
