Fiesta brings multicultural flavour to Caboolture

A colourful array of Signs and Banners is expected to pave the way to this year’s Moreton Bay Multicultural Fiesta in Caboolture, Queensland.

Previously known as the Caboolture Multicultural Festival, the event has been held for more than 13 years.

According to organisers, visitors to this year’s fiesta can look forward to a huge array of cultural fun for all ages.

The only event of its type on the northside of Brisbane, the multicultural festival has grown substantially from what the organisers said were humble beginnings.

Today its appeal has expanded along with the number of attractions and activities available, and printers are kept busy with banner printing in the run-up to the event for its sponsors and attendees.

The packed programme features a fascinating line-up of cultural experiences, favourite rides for the younger folk, free entertainment, cultural stalls and a celebration of traditional foods from many parts of the world in the international food court.

Live music, dancing and multicultural performances will also feature on the day.

According to a media release:

“Each year this fiesta helps raise awareness of just how diverse the Moreton Bay Region community really is by bringing locals and visitors together for colourful celebration.”

The Moreton Bay Multicultural Fiesta will be held from 3pm - 7pm on September 1 at the Caboolture Town Square which is easily accessible by bus and train travel.

The venue also boasts gardens and a playground and is adjacent to the library, business and learning centre and art gallery.
