Families living in the Moreton Bay region near Caboolture will have the chance to meet their local first responders at the Moreton Bay Emergency Services Expo.
The free event, organised by Moreton Bay City Council, will feature members from the Queensland Police, Fire and Ambulance services, SES, Australian Red Cross and Life Flight Australia, among others.
Attendees will have the chance to explore and learn about the vehicles and equipment emergency services use on the job, with police cars, fire trucks and ambulances among the vehicles on display. First responders will also be present, walking attendees through the roles of an emergency service volunteer and sharing how they help keep the community safe.
The half-day expo will offer a full program of activities, with interactive displays, equipment tours and live demonstrations running from 9 am to 1 pm. Offering a range of family-friendly fun and educational activities, the expo seeks to involve attendees of all ages.
