Christmas carol event returns to Caboolture

The festive season will be celebrated in style at this year’s annual Caboolture Christmas Carols at Centenary Lakes Park.

Organisers MBRIT, supported by Moreton Bay Regional Council, have gone all out to ensure the event provides a host of fun and entertainment for the entire family and have urged everyone to take along their blankets and best vocals for what they have described as a truly magical evening.

A myriad of performers will take to the stage, with the first - Miranda Ward - to kick off proceedings at 3:30pm.

This will be followed by the Forever Dance academy, Homestead Country Music Association, Caboolture Community Choir, Accelerate, Inversion Vocal Group and Citipointe Church.

Santa is expected to make a big entrance at 4:55pm. Children will be able to meet him at Santa’s Village where there will also be lots of free Christmas workshops and activities plus a huge snow globe and Christmas tree, which would make the ideal setting for a selfie or family photograph.

Free activities organised for the day include face painting, letters to Santa, colouring-in, kids craft activities and a jumping castle. Christmas candles will also be on sale at the information tent. Events such as this often rely on flyer printing to ensure the local community is aware they are happening.

A spectacular fireworks display is set to light up the sky. The event to be held on November 25.
