North Parramatta to enjoy running event

The Western Sydney edition of a running series is taking place this winter with a course planned out in Parramatta.

Residents who like to run in North Parramatta can enter the footrace called the “Western Sydney 10: Parramatta”. The wintertime running event is 10 kilometres in length and has a course that showcases a popular greenspace in the suburb.

Those organising running events sometimes work with professional printers that can produce branded promotional materials that feature their official Logo Design and encourage entries.

Part of a running series that includes events at other West Sydney locations like Jamisontown and Bungarribee, the Paramatta race begins and ends in verdant Parramatta Park. The three-lap course includes the park loop and begins by the Noller Footbridge and finishes in front of the gatehouse.

For safety and comfort, the footrace is only conducted on sealed pedestrian and cycle paths in the park, making it especially suited to poor winter weather conditions.

The Western Sydney 10: Parramatta will now be held on Sunday, June 14. The meeting point for the event is close to the Good George Café, just within the old Tudor Gatehouse at the corner of George Street and O'Connell Street in Parramatta.

The Paramatta running event is suitable for runners of all levels of athletic ability and can even be completed by parents pushing a pram.
