North Parramatta music fans to hear 60s sounds
A theatre in Parramatta will be hosting a show later this week that pays homage to a legendary American band.
Residents of North Parramatta, particularly those with a passion for vintage music, can catch this show, which is called “Jersey Forever”. Featuring a live concert that celebrates the iconic sound of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, the production is reuniting the four artists who first performed in the Sydney production of the Broadway musical “Jersey Boys”.
A record-breaking musical, Jersey Boys premiered in Sydney 15 years ago, and the upcoming concert will mark the first time in more than a decade that Stephen Mahy, Bobby Fox, Glaston Toft and Scott Johnson have shared a stage.
Concerts in honour of anniversaries and other special occasions sometime enlist the aid of banner printing services to call out to key dates and milestones.
Launched in Newark, New Jersey and performing in the ‘60s and ‘70s, The Four Seasons and the famous falsetto of Frankie Valli were a critical success. Those buying tickets for the show will get a chance to hear classics that may include “Oh What a Night”, “Sherry” and “Walk Like a Man”.
Jersey Forever will be at Riverside Theatres this Friday, November 7. The show runs from 7.30 pm to 9.30 pm, and the venue is based at the corner of Market Street and Church Street in Parramatta.
