An American musician renowned for his social media presence is coming to New South Wales next year.
Milperra music fans will soon enjoy the unique opportunity to hear Dallas, Texas-born maestro Marc Rebillet in concert. Now based in New York City, the musician and YouTuber has become renowned for his improvisational electronic tracks, which feature comedic lyrics.
Although the innovative artist typically distributes his musical creations via Twitch and YouTube videos, he is stopping by Sydney on his international tour. Rebillet creates his music using a loop station, percussion instruments, keyboards and his own vocal stylings, all performed and recorded at his apartment in Lower Manhattan.
Rebillet has released two EPs called “Loop Daddy II” and “Loop Daddy”, along with three albums recorded in the studio, “Marc Rebillet”, “Loop Daddy III” and “Europe”. Musical recording artists sometime hire professional Graphic Design Services to set typography and artwork for their album covers.
Those attending the upcoming performance will get the chance to hear a set list of Rebillet favourites like “Girl’s Club”, “Essential Workers Anthem”, “One More Time” and “I’m a Flamingo”.
Marc Rebillet will now be on stage at Max Watt’s Sydney at 116-122, Building 220, in the Entertainment Quarter on Lang Road in Moore Park on Wednesday, February 2 between 7.30 pm and 10 pm.
