Condell Park club to enjoy country sounds

A long-standing country music band is coming to play live at a social club in Condell Park.

Country music devotees in the area can catch a band called Hillbilly Heaven this winter. Led by the multi-talented Bob Howe, the band has played together for more than two decades.

From clubs and cafes to arenas and stadiums, events venues of every scale often count on professional poster printing services for adverts in a range of sizes to help boost ticket sales for concerts.

Howe acts as the Sydney-based band’s musical director while handling vocals, harmonica and guitar duties. He’ll be joined on stage by bassist and instrument maker Allan Tomkins, steel guitarist Tomu Graso and drummer Terry Phillpot.

While earlier incarnations of the group have existed, the present line-up was selected back in 2000 to serve as the house band for the Canterbury Country shows held monthly in Sydney.

Each member of Hillbilly Heaven has distinguished himself in the Australian country music scene, and together they have toured extensively and proved a festival favourite. Appearances have included playing at the Brisbane Water Oyster Festival and at the famous Tamworth Country Music Festival in New South Wales.

The Hillbilly Heaven band will now be on stage at Club Condell Park on Thursday, May 14. The gig will get started at 7.30 pm and finish at 10 pm.
