Condell Park area to enjoy Australian comedy

An event featuring national and international stand-up comedians is coming to a theatre near Condell Park this year.

Residents looking for laughs this winter can attend an upcoming event called the “Australian Comedy Festival: Stand-Up Comedy Special”. Running in nearby Bankstown, the single-night show will feature homegrown and global talent in the form of five unique comics. While usually performing as headliners in solo shows of their own, the acts are coming together to share a stage in the suburb.

Promoters of comedy shows featuring multiple performers sometimes call on Graphic Design Services that can seamlessly combine images of individual acts into a single graphic for advertising purposes.

The event is led by host comedian Steve Hoskins of Comedy Corner fame, and boasts an elite billing of experienced comic talent. Acts featured on the night have performed locally, nationally and globally, and include A-listers Fady Kassab, Cam Knight, Julia Wilson and Tommy Dean, a comic originally from Arizona in the US. He is now a resident of Australia.

The stand-up comedy show will be live on stage at The Theatre in Bankstown Sports Club on Friday, August 7. Doors will open at 7.30 pm for an 8 pm start and the venue is based at 8 Greenfield Parade in Bankstown, just five miles from Condell Park.

Individual tickets are $44 per person, with booths available for $196.
