Women in Condell Park are invited to attend a nearby painting workshop that is coming to the area in August.
The workshop will be facilitated by the Palestinian Australians Welfare Association. It is a beginner-friendly event that will explore Palestinian art and help participants discover their creativity.
Participants will learn basic colour mixing and brush techniques, taught by an art professional. They will also explore the meaning of traditional Palestinian motifs and patterns. Together, they will learn how to incorporate them into their art.
The group will paint the Dome of the Rock. This is a heritage site in Palestine with strong cultural meaning.
The workshop will offer a supportive environment to learn art techniques. Participants will be encouraged to be curious about painting and culture. They will also be given the freedom to express themselves through their art.
Organisers of creative events can use poster printing to advertise. Contemporary and creative Posters draw community interest and share information. They also encourage attendance from locals in the area.
The Beginner Painting Workshop for Women will be held on Tuesday, 12 August at Mirror Cool Art Studio, 15 Hudson Parade, Birrong. The workshop will go from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
