Businesses in Milperra, New South Wales are set to benefit from a special business expo to be held in Bankstown.
Bankstown City Council’s Bankstown Business Advisory Service (BBAS) will be targeting the City’s 15,000 medium and small business owners when it stages South West Sydney’s first Get Connected @ the South West Sydney Business Expo.
Mayor Linda Downey said the expo will provide a one-stop shop for small business support and advice, and provide attendees with access to the most up-to-date services, products and technology available.
She said a number of successful, high-profile businesspeople will be on hand to share their knowledge and experience with expo visitors in an effort to help local concerns reach the next level and achieve long-term gains.
Major organisations, including QuickBooks Online, Allied Express, ezyCollect, Arab Bank Australia and KPMG, are supporting the Get Connected expo.
Flyer printing and 50 stallholders will provide valuable information for business owners, with one-on-one advice on business and free workshops also part of the comprehensive schedule of events.
Allied Express National Marketing Manager Damien McDonald said his freight and logistics company were keen to be involved with the business expo and help others progress into the market place.
The event will be held on October 14 at the Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.
