Mixed-use hub to shape Canterbury-Bankstown

Milperra is set to benefit from a major transformation planned for Canterbury-Bankstown, as the demand for residential spaces is growing.

The masterplan includes a new metro train station, a $350 million, 22-storey university and a new hospital. The intention is to support the growing population by providing affordable housing, meeting demands for sustainability by improving the environmental performance of the city centre and creating walkways and streets that are user friendly. High-quality landscaping will be maintained, and an urban tree canopy will be created to enhance community wellbeing and the area’s appearance.

One of the most fundamental parts of the city’s upgrade is the recently approved Bankstown fast train metro station. The station is part of the billion-dollar Sydney metro rail project. When complete, it will see metro trains departing every four minutes, creating convenient and reliable connectivity, while encouraging public transport use in and out of the city. The service will allow room for around 100,000 extra customers across Sydney.

Billon dollar developments such as this often see new businesses enter into the area, and promotional material can generate interest and grow customer curiosity. In such instances, flyer printing can be particularly beneficial.

The mixed-use development will be an essential part of the city’s evolution, with the region expected to grow to around 500,000 residents and 155,000 employees by 2036.
