Milperra fans of 70s hit music will be treated to a groovy trip down memory lane next month when a special tribute show plays at nearby Bankstown.
‘Songs of the 70s’ will feature Dot Cooper and Stephen Fisher-King at the Bryan Brown Theatre and Function Centre. The show will highlight classic hits from one of the best musical eras in history. Milperra fans will have the opportunity to sing along and relive the music from bands such as the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, along with other bands and artists from the 70s. Banner printing may be used by the function centre to give music fans more information about this event and future events at the centre.
Dot Cooper hails from Sydney and began singing professionally at the age of fifteen. She has sung on the international stage and has supported several major artists. She has also had roles in musicals such as ‘Grease is the Word’ and ‘The Boy from Oz’. Stephen Fisher-King has won several major awards, including Australian Male Vocalist of the Year. He has also landed lead roles in musicals such as ‘CATS’ and ‘Evita’.
‘Songs of the 70s’ will be rocking at the Bryan Brown Theatre and Function Centre on Tuesday, August 8 at 10am. Tickets for reserved seating are $25 and include morning tea. Group bookings are also available for purchase.
