A celebrated indie group from America will soon be performing live in Sydney.
Folk music fans and those who love indie sounds from around Milperra and other suburbs of the city will soon get a chance to see America’s Bon Iver live in concert. The band will be playing two consecutive shows at the Aware Super Theatre in Sydney as part of an Australian odyssey presented by Handsome Tours.

The upcoming show in Sydney and other locations across the country will mark the folk band’s first full national tour of Australia since back in 2009. Founded by singer and songwriter Justin Vernon in 2006, Bon Iver is named for a greeting used in the cult US TV show Northern Exposure, which means “Good winter”. From its debut release “For Emma, Forever Ago” to its Grammy Award-winning release “I,I”, the band have sold millions of records to critical acclaim.
