An upcoming evening event in Sydney is set to celebrate tropical sounds and flavours.
Music lovers from Milperra and other suburbs looking to warm up over the winter month of August will not want to miss the Sydney Rum and Reggae Festival. Designed to bring a taste of the Caribbean islands to Sydney, the event will be taking place in and around the New South Wales capital. From fairs and carnivals to annual festivals, cities hosting major outdoor events often seek expert assistance from banner printings services to create largescale signage and advertisements.
While headline acts are still to be announced for the upcoming occasion, the festival promises a selection of the smoothest reggae performers from across Australia, along with local artists who regularly perform in the Sydney music scene. The night-time event will boast a state-of-the-art production and will feature traditional themes, including talented carnival dancers and performances from professional steel drum players.
Rum enthusiasts will not be disappointed either, with a wide range of both international and domestic rums being served at the festival. While known for its origins in the Caribbean and the Americas, today, Australia has many renowned rum makers of its own, including Sydney’s Brix Distillers based in Surry Hills.
The Sydney Rum and Reggae Festival will take place on Saturday, August 20. The event will start at 10 pm.
