Alternative music fans from Newtown, Milperra, Liverpool and other parts of NSW will soon get a chance to see the legendary Violent Femmes take to the stage. Since the band was founded by Gordon Gano on vocals and guitar, and Brian Ritchie on bass and backing vocals, they have released 10 studio albums and 15 singles to critical acclaim and audience approval.
Torched Magazine once commented:
“The Femmes engagement with the audience is remarkable. The crowd goes wild for each and every of the many hits in the bands repertoire, singing along at the top of their collective lungs.”
From groups playing rock to those who perform folk punk, musicians of all kinds can rely on professional Print shops with design services to set artwork for album sleeves.
Those attending the upcoming concert will enjoy the opportunity of hearing live renditions of Violent Femmes Classics such as “Blister in the Sun”, “Add it up”, “Kiss Off”, “Gone Daddy Gone” and “Please Don’t Go”.
The NSW concert was originally planned to take place back in 2020 on March 27 but was rescheduled for 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Violent Femmes will now play the Enmore Theatre at 118 to 132 Enmore Road, in Newtown on Thursday, February 24 from 8 pm until 11 pm. Get a Free Quote for Print
