Expo provides opportunity for businesses to Get Connected

Milperra business owners have an opportunity to broaden their reach, establish new suppliers and strengthen their networks at this year’s Get Connected @ South West Sydney Business Expo.

The event, which last year attracted hundreds of small to medium sized business operators, is being hosted by the New City of Canterbury Bankstown.

According to a Council spokesman, the inaugural event featured six interactive workshops and 40 exhibitors.

This year, he said, interest has been even greater resulting in an expanded workshop programme and a heightened demand for stallholder positions.

The spokesman said the 2016 expo is a great place to visit for all local business owners, particularly those seeking to improve their managerial skills, trial new services and products, or learn more about marketing services including POS printing and the creation of effective Brochures and Flyers.

Providers of key business services will also be on hand to provide free business advice, and attendees will also be able to learn about the many varying business assistance programmes on offer by industry bodies and government agencies.

The spokesman said the expo will also provide a great opportunity for business operators to set up new supply chains for products, secure new contracts, generate new leads, and network with industry members and colleagues.

The Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre will host the Get Connected Expo to be held on October 12 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
