Locals in Condell Park are preparing for a cultural music event coming to the area in September.
This event is part of a wider series promoting Italian culture. The musical gathering will feature “Scupriri”, a Sydney-based Sicilian folk group.
“Scupriri” means “to discover” in Sicilian. The group prides itself on its focus on learning, discovery and sharing. Attendees can enjoy lively serenatas and tarantellas from Sicily, and musicians will wear traditional Sicilian attire while bringing the unique music of Sicily to life by playing traditional instruments. These include the tamburello, a frame drum and the maranzano, a kind of jaw harp.
Locals are invited to attend this immersive cultural experience that will take them right to the heart of Sicily and celebrate identity. Light Italian refreshments will be offered during the event.
Organisers of community gatherings like this one can connect with Print shops to help them advertise. Professional printers can design and create compelling graphics and products that attract interest and draw a crowd.
Let’s Go Italian: Cultural Music Experience will be held on Saturday, 20 September. The venue is Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre, which can be found at 80 Richard Road in Bankstown. The event begins at 1:00 PM and finishes at 2:00 PM. Attendance is free, and numbers are limited so bookings are essential. Bookings can be made via the Eventbrite website.Get a Free Quote for Print
