The City of Canterbury Bankstown Council is supporting a range of workshops and programs designed to assist current and aspiring business owners in the local area.
The workshops are hosted by a range of organisations, including business advisory groups and government departments. The workshops are open to residents of the Canterbury Bankstown area, which is bordered by Milperra in the west, Chester Hill in the north, Earlwood in the east and Picnic Point in the South.
New and existing business owners can take advantage of the Social Media and Marketing workshop that is being presented on the 2nd of October in conjunction with Business Connect, Realise Business and Service NSW. The workshop is designed to assist business owners to develop a social media plan that will project the right image for their brand. Social media is an increasingly important component of business marketing that can achieve positive results, particularly when thoughtfully combined with more traditional Print marketing tools, such as brochure printing and Business Cards.
In addition to the range of one-off workshops being hosted, there are a selection of ongoing courses and information sessions available. Realise Business is holding regular business advisory sessions available on weekdays by appointment. These sessions are designed to provide low-cost advice, support and mentoring for business owners.
