Community recycling event to come to Condell Park area
Locals in Condell Park and the surrounding suburbs are preparing for the Keep Australia Beautiful New South Wales (KAB NSW) Annual Conference, which is scheduled to take place in July.
KAB NSW is the leading organisation focused on environmental sustainability and the reduction of litter in the state.
The conference, titled “Picking Up the Pieces: Local Solutions to a National Problem”, will grow previous discussions and actions to focus on the lifecycle of waste and address the problem of litter.
Attendees will hear from experts, leaders of industry, policymakers and advocates, who will share their own experiences and thoughts.
Attendees will also consider the involvement of councils, businesses and local communities in reducing litter and illegal dumping, in changing behaviour and in encouraging care for the environment and the reuse of waste.
