Australian rock comes to Milperra area

A popular rock trio from Australia will be stopping by New South Wales as part of an upcoming national tour.

Three-piece band the DMA’s are set to soon play at the Hordern Pavilion, giving local music fans from Milperra the chance to hear their unique brand of rock. Music venues of all shapes and sizes that host live bands will sometimes employ professional printing services to produce promotional content like Flyers, Banners and Posters to encourage attendance at events.

Once called “The Dirty MA’s”, the group later short-formed their name when Australian radio DJs kept mispronouncing it. As a result, listeners often mistakenly believed the band were named the “The Dirty Mars”.

With a new name, the rock trio now includes Matt Mason, Johnny Took and Tommy O’Dell. Since they first started recording and touring in 2012, they have achieved critical success not only in Australia, but further afield in the UK. There, they supported bands like Kasabian and the Kooks.

The band gained a strong following after their hit track “Delete” entered the top 100 and enjoyed growing popularity after their hit “Play It Out” was featured on the FIFA 17 videogame soundtrack track.

The DMA’s will now play at the Hordern Pavilion at 1 Driver Avenue, Moore Park on Friday, April 8. The show will start at 7.30 pm and end at 11.00 pm.
