In an effort to assist members of the small business community to devise comprehensive business plans and apply for funding from the Government, the Hills Shire Council and Rapport Leadership International will be hosting half-day workshops.
Mayor Dr. Michelle Byrne said business plans identify income potential, as well as expected costs like marketing services and Stationery printing, and were a vital step when going into business for the first time.
She said the ‘Ready, Set, Grow’ series of workshops could put Castle Hill’s small business on the right track to achieving success in the future, added that other areas of coverage at the workshops will include developing three-year forecasts for a business, applying for funding, measuring KPIs and obtaining grants for training.
Mayor Byrne said that taking time to step back from the business to think strategically about the way it is being run was a vital step for small business operators, who are all too often caught up in the daily grind of just working it.
According to the Mayor, the workshop series, to be held on May 10 and June 16, will provide an ideal opportunity to reflect and look seriously at the bigger picture. She encouraged business owners throughout the area not to miss the workshops, which are to be held in the Hills Shire Council building in Baulkham Hills.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
