Castle Hill to host charity event

An evening of entertainment designed to raise money for those in need is taking place in Castle Hill this spring.

Charitable residents of Castle Hill with an interest in culture are invited to attend an upcoming event called Kalpavriksha. Presented by Australian registered charity, Paalam - The Bridge to Humanity, the evening will celebrate art, humanity and stories.

Nonprofits and charity organisations often trust professional Stationery printers to create branded Envelopes and writing paper when petitioning for pledges.

In Hindu mythology, Kalpavriksha is a divine tree that fulfils pure wishes and symbolises eternal life and prosperity. Those attending the event can enjoy traditional music, dance and a fashion showcase.

All proceeds from the evening will go directly to two organisations providing care for those navigating the end of life. These include Pallium India, a non-governmental organisation that brings palliative care to communities in India and Sydney’s Manly Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice, the only hospice for young Australians managing a life limiting illness.

Based in Canberra, Paalam – The Bridge to Humanity is a charity focused on bridging healthcare gaps, especially in cancer screening and palliative care.

Kalpavriksha will now be held at the Pioneer Theatre on Sunday, September 27. The theatre is sited at Level 1, 12-14 Pennant Street inside the Castle Grand Community Centre below Castle Hill Library and the event starts at 5.30 pm and ends at 9 pm.
