Small businesses in Castle Hill and surrounding suburbs are being thrown a lifeline by The Hills Shire Council and the Sydney Hills Business Chamber through a webinar for business owners to assist in reinventing their services in the coming months.
With the outbreak of Covid-19, many small businesses are wondering how they will survive the challenging times ahead. Since 98% of registered businesses falling within The Hills Shire employ between one and nineteen people, these companies will certainly benefit from any assistance that government organisations can provide.
The webinar aims to empower business owners to overcome disruptions and to find innovative new opportunities that will enable growth, success and survival of their businesses.
The material covered in the webinar will cover tips and tricks to marketing on social media, how to utilise a website as the face of a business, principles of digital marketing to achieve better results, creative solutions for service delivery to customers and digital traps that businesses should avoid.
The government hopes to support business owners to retain employees and continue trading where possible and webinars, such as this one, provide small business owners valuable information and support. Businesses can utilise graphic design to update and adapt their websites during the next few months.
The webinar takes place on Tuesday 15th April from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Registration is free on The Hills Shire Council website.
