The Museums Discovery Centre joins new partnership

The Museums Discovery Centre (MDC) recently entered into a cultural partnership with Business Events Sydney (BES) and others.

The MDC, which is located within Castle Hill, has joined forces with Sydney Observatory and the Powerhouse Museum. These partners have pledged to work with BES to promote Sydney as a site for events.

The venues have forged a joint identity as the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences (MAAS). The new development could mean fresh Business Cards are needed and luxury Business Cards may be required for networking purposes going forward.

Lyn Lewis-Smith, the chief executive of BES, said:

“As Australia’s contemporary museum for excellence and innovation, MAAS has a fantastic story to tell our clients. We align our activity with the New South Wales (NSW) Government’s priority sectors and MAAS’ disciplines fit perfectly with this strategy.”

One priority of the MDC is to showcase the western suburbs of Sydney to groups of visitors. As with the other venues in the partnership, an aim of the MDC is to achieve results through focusing on creativity and learning.

The new initiative is targeted at international businesses and associations. Qantas is a strategic partner of those involved in the policy. The idea of the project is that the brand of Sydney can be supported by the production of an urban package that stands out from the competition.
