A musical show honouring the celebrated artists of the American soul scene is set to take place in Castle Hill.
The Castle Hill RSL Club has been selected as the venue to host an upcoming show entitled “Songs in the Key of Motown”. From clubs and community centres to stadiums and arenas, venues of all sizes hosting live music performances often look to professional Print shops for branded advertising content like Posters and Flyers.
The hit show received international acclaim when it took to the stage in Las Vegas, and it is now returning to Australia for audiences across the country. The all-singing and all dancing tribute show features eight award-winning international artists in a concert dedicated to the great performers from the Motown record label.
Motown Records was founded by Berry Fordy Junior as Tamla Records, back in 1959. The name Motown is a combination of the words “motor” and “town”, and it is now a nickname for the city of Detroit, which was where the label began.
Music featured in the show will include that of The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder.
Song in the Key of Motown will be performed live at the Castle Hill RSL Club, at 77 Castle Street on Friday, July 22. Tickets for the event are $50 per person, and the show starts at 8 pm.
